What is the SCOFF questionnaire?

SCOFF is a five-question screen for anorexia and bulimia nervosa. Each “yes” scores 1 point.

Interpretation

A score of 2 or more suggests a possible eating disorder. Assess weight, BMI, observations and bloods. Refer to a community eating disorder service (NICE NG69).

Do not use BMI alone to decide on referral.
